Who I Am, What I Do

I accept digital imaging assignments for corporate and non-profit marketing, public relations, special events, media releases, web sites, employee and trade publications, annual reports and any other commercially-related photographic needs. My earliest professional work was an eight-year stint in photojournalism, but for the past 32 years I have been the sole proprietor of Peplin Photographic, serving a myriad of clients in the Detroit Metropolitan area.

What I Can Do For You

My skill set is strongest when involved with the human element, rather than large object imaging. In other words, I am not a car photographer. I do offer a wide range of capabilities, however, including simple “head shots”, executive and environmental portraiture, groups of all sizes, special events, industrial products and factory situations, and both interior and exterior architecture. The experience I have accumulated since 1980 can be shared on many levels, such as pre-event planning and on-site flexibility when the unexpected occurs, as it often does.

My minimum location shoot fee is one hour, so you will never be forced to pay for a half or full day when all you need is a very brief session. I never have issues with last-minute calls for assignments and I am always prepared to meet extreme turnaround times, no matter how ridiculous they may seem.
